After Your Session
Tattoo Aftercare Guide
Follow these steps to protect your investment and ensure your tattoo heals beautifully.
Keep It Clean
Gently wash with unscented antibacterial soap and lukewarm water 2–3 times daily. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — never rub.
Moisturize Daily
Apply a thin layer of unscented, alcohol-free lotion or tattoo balm 2–3 times a day to keep the skin hydrated and prevent cracking.
Avoid Sun & UV
Keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least 4 weeks. Once healed, always apply SPF 50+ to preserve color and line clarity.
Don't Pick or Scratch
Peeling and itching are normal. Resist scratching or picking at flakes — it can pull out ink and cause scarring or patchy healing.
No Soaking
Avoid pools, hot tubs, baths, and open water for 3–4 weeks. Prolonged soaking softens scabs and increases infection risk.
Wear Loose Clothing
Let the tattoo breathe. Tight or rough fabric creates friction, traps moisture, and can stick to healing skin — wear loose, soft layers.
